Traveling during Covid

September 2, 2020

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport founded in 1925 is the primary commercial airport for Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. In April 2020 the airport experienced a -96.44% change in the amount of aircrafts that took flight compared to April 2019. This is the result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since April the gates are now looking more replete, as travel restrictions are slowly being lifted. Currently all major airlines are requiring face coverings when entering the aircraft. As of right now there is no assured answer as to when commercial travel will see some “normalcy”. Quite frankly airports and aircrafts may never operate the same way they did before the COVID-19 pandemic.
